Appointments 

How do I book an appointment?

For existing clients, the easiest way to make an appointment is through our online booking system powered by Vagaro  If you are unsure of what service to book, TEXT us and we can help you. Online booking not your thing? Send us a text and we can set it up for you. Some of our stylists do a lot of their own booking as well

*We do not have a dedicated receptionist at either location. Calls are answered or returned by our assistants when they are not assisting in-salon clients. We strongly encourage pre-booking your next appointment at checkout. 

Service Pricing

How is pricing determined? 

With the exception of our assistants and Junior Stylists, pricing is determined by each individual stylist. Our team members are seasoned stylists with at least 5+ years of experience behind the chair. No stylist is required to charge a certain amount or complete a service in a specific time frame. Every service is customized for each client. 

*We do not provide quotes over the phone or email. 

Customer Satisfaction

Our top priority is that you leave our salon with healthy, beautiful hair and a smile on your face. In the event that doesn’t happen, we respectfully ask that you contact us (or your stylist) within 14 days of your service. Please give the stylist that provided the service the opportunity to make you happy. 

We do not give monetary refunds.

 

Products 

How are your brands chosen? 

We choose brands that we personally love or our clients have recommended to us.  We also look for brands on a mission to better our planet and our bodies by using higher quality ingredients and eliminating harmful chemicals when possible. 

Shipping 

When will my order ship?

We try to ship orders within 48 business hours after purchase (with the exception of federal holidays, inclement weather, misbehaving children, no more packing tape...)  However, due to the pandemic, most shipping times have been delayed. 

Where is my order?

If you have not received your order after 14 days, please email us at hello@jamesmalone.com and then Russell and Millie will yell at each other over who forgot to ship your order.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship in the continental U.S. Unless you live on an exotic beach and want to pay for our plane ticket...then we will personally deliver your package.
